Baby Eczema – Community – The Bump

Interesting. Our pedi recommends infrequent bathing. DS gets a bath every 4 days unless he is really gross then he gets rinsed off with no soap.

Our dermatologist made a similar recommendation – infrequent baths, but lotion the second they’re out of the bathtub, and no soap (or as little as possible) for in-between baths.

Also, I forget who mentioned it, but breast milk was pretty phenomenal for DD’s eczema and skin allergies.  I wish I had kept pumping with her solely so that I could still use the BM to help cure her issues.  It’s kind of ironic that she didn’t tolerate it very well when ingested, but her skin loved it.
